Meet Helen, another valued member of our thermal blankets team. Helen has been working at Aletek for 7-months and has settled in very easily into the team.
Helen previously worked in very agriculturally based industries, working in a piggery and multiple packing sheds in which she handled quality control and compliance. She is a motivated team member and is starting to learn quality control here as well. Helen has great attention to detail which is one of the reasons that she enjoys her job and quality control so much.
She states that her job here at Aletek is very different but fundamentally similar to her previous work in packing sheds.
“Each team member has a role to fill, and without that role being filled, the whole production line stops”.
Helen enjoys many creative paths in her spare time, including gardening, and decorating cakes and you can always find her at the beach swimming during summer. She is quite the impressive cake decorator, something she and her mother enjoys and is often creating some magical Christmas or birthday cakes, as well as plenty of other tasty treats. Helen has also played netball for 30 years! That’s some serious passion.
