About the role
Aletek is a well-established partner to many open-cut mines in the Bowen Basin region of Queensland. We manufacture thermal insulation blankets and dual-wall exhaust systems to help mines prevent fires on their mobile machinery.
This exciting role is to maintain and grow our market share in this region. This role will be based in Mackay and will involve frequent travel within the Bowen Basin to visit the mine sites.
What you will do in the role.
- Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with clients.
- Seek and develop opportunities for growth through market analysis and strategic planning for existing and new accounts.
- Develop and implement a growth strategy / sales action plan focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Arrange and facilitate face-to-face meetings with existing and potential clients.
- Call clients to generate leads, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals.
- Develop and foster a healthy sales and opportunity pipeline.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, presentations, and sales contracts in conjunction with internal sales team.
- Manage communication between clients and internal operations teams.
