We’re sharing more insights into The Aletek Story. Meet Shane (Lotzy), who no doubt you’ve seen on our LinkedIn page before. Here’s his story.
Lotzy is the fabrication supervisor/Leading Hand here at Aletek, starting his journey off five and a half years ago as a boilermaker. Over the years, he has loved watching the business grow and feeling a part of the team. He often expresses his love for his job, and that family feeling he gets every time he comes to work.
Leading his team is what he enjoys – watching them learn, improve and produce quality products. As Lotzy would say, “a good captain keeps their crew captivated and motivated at the same time”. Lotzy, we can certainly vouch for you here! Achieving that quality result is what drives him.
Aletek’s Core Values are another aspect Lotzy feels strongly about. He not only follows them at work but they resonate with him in his home life as well, after all, “there are two sides to life, there’s your work life and your home life, and they both have to combine really well, to be good at both.” he says.
When Lotzy isn’t at work, he loves spending time with his family, going to the gym and playing some golf. ⛳
