Overview
Experienced CNC brake press machine and Laser cutter operator required to join our growing team manufacturing products for the Mining Industry. Located in Bundaberg.
We currently have an opening for a CNC Laser / Press Operator in day shift from 6am to 2.30pm. (Some flexibility with start and finish times).
About the role
This role will report to the Production Manager.
- Run the machines in the best and most efficient way.
- Setting and operating laser machines
- Unloading/loading materials where required
- Ensure that daily production orders are met by following a Production Schedule
- Have the ability to effectively manage priorities and meet targets
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings
- Have the ability to manage priorities efficiently in a time critical environment
- Will be required to maintain all required tolerances and quality expectations
- You will also be required to create/edit some programs depending on the part being folded
- Picking/packing orders
About the candidate
- 2 years previous experience as Operator for Laser and Press desirable
- Ability to prioritise jobs to meet customer requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
