Meet Dwane, one of our committed Exhaust Production Team members who’s just finished his 3-year boilermaker apprenticeship. ‘Lotzy’, our happy-go-lucky Leading Hand couldn’t be prouder, and we congratulate Dwane for achieving this personal milestone. Let’s take a moment to hear from the man himself.
Dwane has been a part of the Aletek family for almost 4 years. He started here as a TA (Trade Assistant) after previously finishing a 12-month stint as a TA in the mines at Port Headland. Dwane tells us he aspires to “be the best that I can be” and metal fabrication is something he’s always wanted to do. “We’ve come a long way! There’s no more pickling DPFs in the mud and rain” (cleaning stainless Diesel Particulate Filters). Our state of the art facility is loaded with some seriously high-quality equipment.
Dwane is happy to play his part in keeping the wheels of the Aletek machine moving. He is inspired by our core values to ensure the ‘customer is king’ and continuous improvement to find ‘a better way’. Outside of work, Dwane likes to kick back and chill out with the family. Well done Dwane, you’re an Aletek legend! Keep up the great work.
