Meet Jamie, our Thermal Blanket Supervisor here at Aletek. Jamie started working with us in 2011 as a sewer and worked his way up to the supervisor role.
Next September (2021), Jamie will hit the 10 year mark here at Aletek! Here is more of what Jamie has to say about his experience here at Aletek so far.
“Way back there was only 5 of us doing thermal blankets – no boiler makers at this stage. So to date, I’ve seen so many changes and expansions within the presmises and staff, and the business as a whole over the years and I see many more coming in future.
The thermal team is a well-oiled machine at the moment. They are like family in a way, we just get it done. I’ve been to team members weddings, seen them through tough times and even becoming parents for the first time. Just awesome to share such moments with people I can not only call team members but mates as well.
Our Core Values for me, equals structure and I love structure in my life. Outside of work, I am a super keen archer, I have completed in local, state and national levels. I also love my golf but that’s another story – I’m no pro.”
